Take in the stunning vista bathed in the soft glow of the late afternoon light before crossing the mighty Pentecost River and continuing to Emma Gorge Resort, part of the renowned El Questro Wilderness Park. Here, you’ll settle in for two nights in unique tented safari cabins nestled among the bush, offering a perfect blend of comfort and nature.

From there, you’ll continue to Halls Creek. While here, you’ll visit Old Halls Creek, the site of the original Gold Rush township, and see the iconic China Wall, a fascinating natural quartz formation.
After returning to Halls Creek for lunch, you’ll head along the Great Northern Highway toward Fitzroy Crossing, a town shaped by the unprecedented flood events of 2023.
